Over the next few weeks, you will be learning about evolution.
This week’s science should take you at least two sessions- today and Tuesday.
To begin with, we would like you to find out about a famous scientist – Mary Anning. You will need to understand who she was, what she did and why her work was so important to our understanding of evolution (more about what that is later).

Task: choose to either draw a cartoon strip to illustrate Mary Anning’s life or present information all about her- you could create an information leaflet or fact file poster; you choose how you want to present your information and write in your own words. (Remember that this should take you at least two sessions.)
